Basarnas Form 3 5 Km Comb Team From The Location Of The Lost Brother In The Lasolo River, Southeast Sulawesi

KENDARI - Basarnas Kendari formed three teams to continue the search for two brothers and sisters who were reported missing drowned in the Lasolo River, Laronanga Village, Andowia District, North Konawe Regency (Konut), Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra).

Head of Basarnas Kendari Aris Sofingi said the search operation for the victims on the second day also involved the joint SAR team combing the location where the victim was reported missing.

"The joint SAR team continued the search for the victims by dividing into three teams. Team 1 using a rubber boat (fiber boat) and a longboat (long boat) combed to the right of the Lasolo River, starting from the last location the victim was reported missing to the downstream for 5 kilometers," he said in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Friday 9 December, confiscated from Antara.

Furthermore, Team 2 using a rubber boat and a long boat combed left of the Lasolo River from LKP to downstream for 5 kilometers.

Then, Team 3 using a rubber boat and a long boat searched the center of the Lasolo River starting from the location where the victim was reported missing to the downstream for 5 kilometers.

The search for two siblings who are residents of Buke Village, Buke District, South Konawe Regency involved elements of the North Konawe SAR Alert Team, North Konawe Police, North Kodim Konawe, the local BPBD Rapid Response Team, the Fire Department, surrounding communities and the families of the victims.

Previously, on Thursday, December 8 at around 16.30 WITA, the victim on behalf of Erik ran and jumped into the Lasolo River. Then after a few minutes the victim's older brother named Mikhade also jumped with the aim of helping his younger brother who had been swept away by the river current.

"However, the victim was also dragged by the river current and drowned. The family and the surrounding community have conducted a search, but until we received the information, the victim has not been found," he said.
