The West Sumatra Police Chief Asked Police Members To Dispute Maluku Culture

SUMBAR - West Sumatra Police Chief (West Sumatra) Inspector General Pol Suharyono asked police personnel in the West Sumatra region to have a culture of shame. Disgust must appear if it is not optimal in carrying out community service.

"There are three shames that police personnel in West Sumatra must have," he said in Padang, Thursday, December 8, as reported by Antara.

He said it was the first shame when a higher rank of personnel lost to a lower rank, second when knowledge in its function was better known by members in other functions, and third as police committed violations of the law.

He also emphasized to members not to commit violations, to injure families and organizations.

He asked members to do good behavior by increasing piety to God Almighty.

"No members should commit conventional crimes, drugs, get drunk and so on," he said.

He also asked all police personnel to increase their vigilance after the suicide bombing at the Astanaanyar Police, Bandung City, West Java on Wednesday, December 7, which resulted in the victim's death.

"We must not be afraid and worried and must increase vigilance, and pray more," he said.

He instructed the security of the mako to be further improved and more optimal than before

In addition, personnel are also anticipating the arrival of guests, especially those related to visiting prisoners.

"So that every item or food brought by visiting is properly checked," he said.

The West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Pol Suharyono paid a working visit to the Tanah Datar Police on Thursday, December 8, accompanied by several main officials from the local police.
