Corruption Case Of Perumnas Project In Sungai Ambawang West Kalimantan, Attorney General's Office Has Determined 3 Suspects

The West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan) High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has detained three suspects in a corruption case in the construction of a shophouse on the Ambawang River by Perum Perumnas Pontianak Branch from 2015 to 2018. The state loss in that case is estimated at IDR 2.5 billion from the contract value of IDR 18 billion.

"Of the four suspects, we have not detained one suspect with the initials SH because he is sick," said Assistant Pidsus of the West Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office, Bambang Yulianto Eko Putro in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Thursday, December 8, as reported by Antara.

The three suspects in this case are WI as Manager of Perum Perumnas Pontianak Branch, WR as Assistant Manager of the Production and Land Section of Perum Perumnas Pontianak Branch, and MM always carries out work. Meanwhile, SH, who has not been detained due to illness, as Director of PT Karya Mulya Perkasa.

"The mode of corruption was carried out by the suspects, namely the work carried out was not in accordance with the contract, resulting in state losses of Rp. 2.5 billion, out of a total contract value of Rp. 18 billion," he said.

Bambang explained that the chronology of corruption committed by the suspects, namely the suspects WI and WR together with the implementers of the work, namely the suspects SH and MM as directors of PT Dawuh Utama 2015-2016, have carried out the construction of 29 shophouse units at the Sentraland Sungai Ambawang location, Kubu Raya Regency.

The suspects violated and were threatened with Article 2 paragraph (1), Article 3 Jo. Article 18 paragraphs 1 to 3 of Law no. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended and supplemented by Law no. 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law no. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

"For the next legal process, the suspects will be detained at the Pontianak Class II A Detention Center for the next 20 days," he said.

On that occasion, the Assistant Pidsus of the West Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office added that his party continued to develop the case, so that the suspect could increase.
