Ferdy Sambo Will Witness 2 Of His Former Subordinates

JAKARTA - Former Head of Propam Polri Ferdy Sambo will be presented again as a witness today, Thursday 8 December. He will provide information for Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra in the trial of the alleged obstruction of investigation or obstruction of justice case of the death of Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.

"Information plans for the trial this morning, the defendants HK and AN are Ferdy Sambo, Arif Rahman and Adi Setya (Ahli Labfor, ed)," said legal advisers Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra, Ragahdo Yosodiningrat when contacted, Thursday, December 8.

Referring to the previous trial, it is possible that the panel of judges will open an obstruction of justice trial at 09.30 WIB.

Meanwhile, continued Ragahdo, for the defendant Irfan Widyanto who is also his client, he planned that there would be two witnesses to provide information. Both are members of the National Police.

"The defendants IW are witnesses Baiquni and Chuck," said Ragahdo.

Hendra Kurniawan, Agus Nurpatra, and Irfan Widyanto were charged with obstructing the investigation into the death of Brigadier J at Ferdy Sambo's official residence at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

In the indictment, Hendra Kurniawan played a role in ordering Agus Nurpatra to secure CCTV around Ferdy Sambo's official residence.

Then for Agus Nurpatra, he continued the order and made sure everything went smoothly.

Meanwhile, Irfan Widyanto played a role in securing CCTV DVR at the security post of the Police complex, Duren Tiga.

Thus, they are strongly suspected of violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law Number 19 of 2016 and/or the second indictment of Article 233 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 221 paragraph (1) to 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
