Erick Thohir's Step In Supporting MSMEs Is Assessed As A Redam Impact Of Recession

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir is considered to reduce the impact of recession by supporting micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Erick has taken at least three steps, such as building and developing digital infrastructure. "The three steps are the first development and development of digital infrastructure that is evenly distributed throughout Indonesia," said one of the founders of the Bogor Raya PKL Association, Teddy Risnandi in a written statement, Wednesday, December 7. The next step, BUMN is now focusing on the development and growth of Indonesia's digital society. Then, Erick is considered to focus on accelerating the digital economy ecosystem. Teddy said this assessment was proven by the MSME Digital Market (PaDil) which has bridged thousands of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. This program allows them to participate in procurement within ministries and state-owned companies. "Until June 2022, there will be a total transaction with 12,960 MSMEs of Rp. 18 trillion," he said. In addition, there is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program and a partnership developed by the Ministry of SOEs for MSME actors. So, they can survive even though the global economy is uncertain. "The role of SOEs is to become professional companies in order to provide dividends to the state, but another role for SOEs is to provide services and prosper the community," said Teddy. Furthermore, Teddy also appreciated Erick Thohir's plan to encourage the creative industry. He said, this kind of concern allows small and medium enterprises to advance to class. "Minister Erick Thohir's concern for MSMEs will be able to make all MSME actors advance to class and be able to enter digital and technological transformations," he concluded.
