PKS Politicians Say Dasco Dictator During The Plenary Session, Gerindra Legislator: What Is Etis Hese And Table Gebrak?

JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the DPR from the Gerindra faction, Habiburokhman, did not accept the attitude of a member of the DPR from the PKS faction, Iskan Qolba Lubis, who mentioned that Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, was the dictator for stopping the interruption in the plenary meeting of the RKUHP ratification yesterday.

According to Habiburokhman, Iskan's attitude, who shouted and kicked the table while reminding the chairperson of the trial not to become a dictator in the plenary session, was very unethical. Moreover, as a member of Commission VIII of the DPR, Iskan did not follow the dynamics that occurred at level I discussions at Commission III of the DPR.

"I was present in the meeting room, I participated in the process of discussing the RKUHP starting from the commission, coincidentally he was not from Commission III. But in general, I also questioned whether it was ethical to scream, hit the table, accused other arrogant people, accusing other dictators?" said Habiburokhman at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, December 7.

Habiburokhman explained, based on the rules of the DPR RI Article 296 paragraph 3, the chairperson of the meeting could stop the interruption if it was deemed off the mark. Supposedly, he said, Iskan as a meeting participant could follow the applicable rules.

"What I have arrested, and this is also a custom, Article 296. If there are speakers who deviate, they can be directed, and can even be stopped by the chair of the meeting," explained the Deputy Chairperson of the MKD. The deputy chairman of Gerindra said the chairperson of the meeting may stop the interruption of members if the opinion conveyed is out of context. This, said Habiburokhman, was common in the meetings in the DPR so that he could not be said to be a dictator if the leadership stopped the meeting participants.

"We are usually like that in Commission III, even though we have different parties, for example. We interrupted, by the chair of the meeting, for example, it was considered 'oh, this is out of context, yes, stop it's another turn to talk. It was not arrogant and shouted at the table, accusing dictators, that's very arrogant behavior like that," said Habiburokhman.

Previously, a member of the PKS faction Iskan Qolba Lubis said that Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad was the dictator for stopping his interruption during the plenary ratification of the RKUHP.

Initially, Iskan gave an interruption to convey two notes to the Criminal Code Bill. However, Dasco immediately cut the interruption because Iskan requested that the article on insults to the president and institutions be removed.

In fact, previously the PKS faction had agreed that this bill was brought to the plenary session. He even threatened to sue the article to the Constitutional Court.

"PKS still has 2 notes, first, those who insulted the government were sentenced to 3 years in the rubber article, I ask that this article be revoked. Meanwhile, students have also demoed, this is a setback from the ideals of reform, this article will take the right of the community to express their opinions. throughout the world the people must criticize the government, the president must also be criticized. I will submit to the Constitutional Court this article," said Iskan in a plenary meeting.

Dasco then cut Iskan's statement because he felt that the PKS faction had broken the agreement.

"The PKS faction has agreed with the notes. We have received the notes, the PKS has agreed," said Dasco, cutting Iskan's interruption. Iskan, who did not accept the interruption, then warned Dasco not to become a dictator at the plenary meeting. He also threatened to sue the Criminal Code Law regarding the article on insulting the president to the Constitutional Court.

"I'm talking, don't be a dictator here, I will submit it to the Constitutional Court," continued Iskan, who sat on Commission VIII of the DPR. Dasco reminded that the PKS faction had previously approved that the RKUHP be brought to the plenary session without any demands to revoke the article.

"You ask to withdraw those that have been approved by the factions. That's why you have given a note," said Dasco again.

Iskan was even more furious and stated that he walked out of the plenary meeting.

"If I don't give it time, I will get out of here," Iskan threatened.
