TANGERANG - The South Tangerang Police Traffic Unit (Tangsel) officially imposed an electronic ticket using the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) mobile method to prevent traffic violations.
"Today the South Tangerang Police Traffic Unit has implemented a Mobile ETLE. This mobile ETLE is placed in the South Tangerang Police Satlantas patrol car," said South Tangerang Police Traffic Unit Head AKP Dicky Sutarman in his statement, Monday, December 5.
Dicky explained, in its operation, ETLE mobile will take action against traffic violators by automatically capturing them. Then, the violator will be verified to the office and then sent to the offender.
"Later on, ETLE will automatically capture traffic violations during this mobile patrol throughout the jurisdiction of the South Tangerang Police," he said.
"Violations of capture will later be sent to the office to verify and then a confirmation sheet will be sent to traffic violators," he continued.
Dicky also explained that the number of personnel who manned mobile ETLE was 8 people. However, six of them worked in the back office and the rest were in the electronic ticketing car.
"For the personnel who manned our six office people and 2 in patrol cars that were carried out alternately," he said.
On the other hand, the South Tangerang Police Traffic Unit also opened a service post and an E-TLE complaint. They will operate Monday-Friday, 08.00 to 13.00 WIB.
"The Satlantas Tangsel service post and mobile complaints at the South Tangerang Police are operational from 08.00 to 13.00 on Mondays," he concluded.
