JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin said he would attend the wedding of President Joko Widodo's youngest children, Kaesang Pangarep and Erina Gudono. He considers Jokowi's family as part of his own family.

"God willing, come, especially the President's son and I as Vice President, so that they are part of my own family. God willing, I will come," the Vice President told reporters in Jakarta, Monday, December 5, to be confiscated by Antara.

Regarding the involvement of a number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet in the composition of the Kaesang-Erina wedding committee, the Vice President considered this to be normal because the ministers were also close to Jokowi's family.

He believes the involvement of ministers as committees does not interfere with work as ministers.

The committee is back about close people, usually so. Anyone who is close or in his environment will become a committee, and even if there are officials, I hope it doesn't interfere with performance. Yes, I hope that's all," explained the vice president.

Kaesang and Erina are scheduled to hold a marriage contract at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hall, Yogyakarta, Saturday, December 10, 2022. Meanwhile, the wedding ceremony will take place on Sunday, December 11, 2022 in Puro Mangkunegaran, Solo, Central Java.

The wedding ceremony of Kaesang and Erina was not held at Graha Saba Buana, Solo, which used to be the wedding reception for two of Kaesang's brothers, and is a building belonging to Jokowi's family, because the building was rented by the community on the same day.

Jokowi emphasized that he did not want to disturb people who had rented the building first.
