DKI Provincial Government Will Fire Members Of The Thousand Islands Council Who Are Arrested By The Methamphetamine Party

The Regent of the Thousand Islands, Junaedi, said that a member of the Thousand Islands Regency Council with the initials MJ was arrested by the police for allegedly being involved in a methamphetamine party was threatened with being fired through the interim replacement process (PAW). "We will report it to the Governor of the process for PAW," said Junaedi when met at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, December 5. However, Junaedi emphasized that the DKI Provincial Government will process the MJ PAW if he has been proven to be the perpetrator of drug abuse. Currently, the police are still conducting investigations and identification in determining the role of each suspected perpetrator of the methamphetamine party. "They will have a PAW (process). When it is proven that they have drug cases, they will be replaced," said Junaedi. As previously reported, a member of the Thousand Islands Council with the initials MJ (35) was arrested for consuming methamphetamine. MJ was arrested at his residence on Friday, November 18. He was secured based on the development process. MJ is one of two members of the Thousand Islands Regency Council representing each sub-district. He is an employee of another individual service provider (PJLP) and not an ASN. MJ is also not a member of a political party like a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD. The arrest of MJ began when members of the Thousand Islands Police received information about a drug party. So that it was followed up and managed to secure five people on Kelapa Island. Those who were arrested included A (19), AL (27), FD (26), AL (30), and AI (26). From the results of the examination, one of the suspects said that he got it from the PJLP Satpol PP of the Thousand Islands Regency with the initials NF (33). So, immediately secured. Then, NF was examined intensively. To investigators, he admitted that he had consumed methamphetamine at MJ's house. On that basis, the police immediately secured it at home. In fact, from the results of the search, a methamphetamine suction device was found.
