PANGKALAN BUN - A prisoner escaped from the Class II B Correctional Institution, Pangkalan Bun, West Kotawaringin Regency (Kobar), Central Kalimantan Province (Kalteng), Sunday, December 4 this morning. This prisoner dudua stole six bullets belonging to the officer. "The perpetrator was entrusted by the Nanga Bulik District Attorney, Lamandau Regency. He escaped at around 05.00 WIB and the perpetrator also took a weapon belonging to the prison officer while running away," said Kobar Police Chief AKBP Bayu Wicaksono, quoted from Antara, Sunday evening. The perpetrator was on behalf of Ruslan and imprisoned for theft with violence. Regarding the chronology of the detainee escaping from the Class II B prison in Pangkalan Bun, Bayu could not explain it because it was still under investigation by officers. Currently the team has also pursued the perpetrator. "For more details, please confirm with the Kalapas directly. Of course we have received the report," said the Kobar Police Chief. The police chief appealed to residents to be careful because the escaped prisoners were suspected of stealing weapons. He also asked residents who have information regarding Ruslan's whereabouts to report to the nearest police station so that immediate action can be taken. Currently, the local police are also coordinating with various related parties to track and pursue the escaped prisoners. His party also alerted personnel at locations that might be hiding places for the perpetrators. This is done to narrow Ruslan's space for movement. Meanwhile, when confirmed regarding the escape of one of the detainees in Pangkalan Bun Prison, the Head of the Development Section of the Prisoners/EDucated Children and the Working Activities of the Class II B Pangkalan Bun Peni Hadi Sutrisno have not been confirmed.
