This Is Erick Thohir's Best Basketball Player Of Choice

JAKARTA - A total of 12 titles have been won by the Satria Muda basketball club Pertamina Jakarta. The first title was obtained in 1999 and the latest is 2021.

A series of great players since 1999 have changed to occupy the club that was founded in October 1993. From a number of generations, the owner of SM Erick Thohir, admitted that he could not forget the SM generation in 1999 when he won the first title.

"The 1999 Generation when SM first won the Indonesian title, always in my heart. At that time SM was not a leading team, the players were not a group of stars. But they played with their hearts until finally we were able to come out as champions," said Erick Thohir at the SM thanksgiving event to win the back to back 2021 and 2022 titles, Saturday 3 December.

With the first title, continued Erick Thohir, it became the basis or foundation for the club to develop until it finally became what it is today, becoming a respected basketball club in the country.

A number of names from the 1999 generation who attended the thanksgiving event at the Britama Arena, Mahaka Square Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta including Fictor "Ito" Roring, Wahyu "Cacing" Widayat Jati and Dwui "Iboy" Eriano. Another name is the late Amran Andi Shinta, Syahrizal Afandi, Bayu Radityo.
