The Russian Military Receiving Sukhoi Combat Jet Su-30SM2 Baru: Equipped With Smart Weapons, Sasar Target Hundreds Of Kilometers

JAKARTA - Russian military air force is increasingly dire, along with the acceptance of fighter jets with smart weapons and advanced communication radios.

The United Aircraft Corporation produces and sends a number of new Sukhoi Su-30SM2 fighter jets to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian government said in a statement.

"The Irkutsk Aviation plant from the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the state company Rostec) has produced and delivered a new Su-30SM2 fighter aircraft and a Yak-130 fighter aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defense," the statement read.

The Cabinet noted that the Sukhoi Su-30SM2 fighter jet was an upgrade of the aircraft used by the Russian Air Force and Navy.

"The new aircraft have received sophisticated radio-electronic onboard equipment. The improvements made on assignments from the Russian Ministry of Defense have increased aircraft combat capabilities," the government said.

"In particular, the detection and identification reach of air targets has been increased," the government continued, adding that new warplanes were capable of delivering attacks on air, land, and sea targets with new smart weapons from a distance of several hundred kilometers.

In addition, the Irkutsk airline from the United Aircraft Corporation has also produced and delivered new Yak-130 fighter aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The two-seat Yak-130 fighter jet is used for basic and advanced pilot training, to learn to operate modern and advanced fighter aircraft, including 4++ generation and fifth generation fighter aircraft.
