Trauma Earthquake Cianjur, A Resident Of Sukabumi Still Fears Entering The Garut Pascagempa House

SUKABUMI - Sukabumi residents are reportedly still worried about getting into their house after the 6.1 magnitude earthquake centered in Garut, West Java, Saturday, December 3. They have not dared to enter the house for fear of aftershocks.

Not to mention the post-earth trauma after the M5.6 which destroyed Cianjur Regency on November 21, as reported by Antara, Saturday, December 3.

Meanwhile, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Sukabumi City appealed to residents to remain alert to anticipate aftershocks.

Residents are also asked not to panic and not to trust information related to earthquakes whose sources are unclear.

The Chief Executive of the Sukabumi City BPBD, Imran Whardani, also reminded the public to immediately evacuate themselves if an earthquake occurred again.

Residents are asked to immediately leave their homes, buildings and other buildings and run to open areas such as fields and other safe locations

Imran admitted that he had not received any reports of damage until Saturday afternoon. However, his party continues to monitor and continue to communicate with officers in the field.

The BPBD of Sukabumi City continues to check every settlement and immediately report to the post if found or receive information about buildings damaged due to the impact of the earthquake.
