CIANJUR - Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) ensures that the relocation land in Sirnagih Village, Cilaku District, Cianjur Regency, West Java, for earthquake victims in a number of villages in Cugenang District, is in a safe zone and is not on the epicenter of the earthquake. The Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR, Irwan Suprijanto, said that the plan is for the construction of houses on a 2.4-hectare relocation area to be carried out by the Ministry of PUPR which has prepared service providers to carry out work. "For the relocation land, it has been verified with the BMKG regarding its existence in the safe zone and there is no epicenter of the earthquake. The condition of the soil, rock and so on on the relocation land of Sirnawih Village is safe for housing to be built," he said in Cianjur, Antara, Friday, December 2. Moreover, he said, the Cianjur Regency Government has stated that the relocation land is included in the housing zone, not the green zone which is prohibited from establishing buildings or housing. His party has also ensured the availability of water, electricity, access, and the possibility of building it quickly. "The “ Regent has issued a location determination decree, this is the basis for identifying the location planning to accommodate 200 housing units along with the facilities. We have prepared service providers to carry out rapid construction, "he said.
