1 Victim's Body The National Police Helicopter Was Flown To Jakarta, The Babel Police Made Sure The Search Continued

BABEL - One body of the P-1103 helicopter crew, namely Aiptu Anumerta Joko Mudo, was buried in Jakarta. The victim of the helicopter accident belonging to Korpolairud Baharkam Polri was flown from the Bangka Belitung Islands (Babel) on Friday, December 2 morning.

"The ceremony to release the bodies was led directly by the Babel Police Chief at the Base Ops of HAS Hanandjoeddin Tanjung Pandan Airport," said Head of Public Relations of the Babel Police, Kombespol A. Maladi in Pangkalpinang, Babel, Friday, December 2, quoted from Antara.

He said the body went to the Pondok Cabe Ditpoludara Mako using a plane belonging to the National Police and a ceremony would also be held for release from service to the victim's family at the Ditpoludara Mako.

"Alhamdulillah, the ceremony for releasing the bodies is solemn, smooth and safe," he said.

He explained that Aiptu Anumerta Joko Mudo was a crew of the P-1103 helicopter that lost contact in the waters of Belitung Island on Sunday 27 November at around 14:40 WIB.

His body was found dead on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at around 23.00 WIB at the Karang Rental location, approximately 15 Mill east of the Limau Book island, approximately 4 hours from ASDP Manggar.

"The victim's body was found by fishermen who were caught in the fishing net," he said.

He added that at this time the search for victims was being carried out and assisted by fishermen and the surrounding community.

"Until the day we continue to search for victims, there is one more victim, namely AKP Arif Rahman Saleh and this search is still being assisted by the joint SAR Team and fishermen around," he said.
