Still Crowded With Smooth, Traffic Engineering Has Not Been Established In The At-Tin Mosque Area, Reunion 212 Location

JAKARTA - Traffic conditions on Jalan Raya Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, or in front of the At-Tin Mosque are busy smoothly during the 212 Reunion event.

East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head, AKBP Edy Surasa said traffic conditions were still normal so there was no need for diversion.

"The situation is normal, there is still no density until now," said Edy in Jakarta, Friday, December 2 morning, as reported by Antara.

Until 08.30 WIB, the vehicle from Kramat Jati to TMII went smoothly, but slightly stuck in front of the At-Tin Mosque gate due to the crowd entering the mosque complex.

Edy said that if the traffic situation was observed to be congested, his party would only implement flow diversion.

"Situational, if it is crowded, we will divert the flow but if it is still like this, we will be normal," said Edy

Previously, the participants of the 212 Reunion Munajat Akbar had visited the location of the activity at the At-Tin Grand Mosque, East Jakarta, since early Friday morning.

The event, which took place starting at 03.00 WIB this morning, was filled with a number of activities such as tahajjud prayers, congregational prayers, reading of salawat and tausiah from a number of clerical figures.

Polda Metro Jaya has prepared 310 personnel to secure the 212 Action Reunion at the At-Tin Mosque, East Jakarta, on Friday.

"We have also prepared 310 personnel at the event location at the At-Tin Mosque plus East Jakarta Police," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan when confirmed in Jakarta, Thursday, December 1.

Zulpan said the police had received a notification letter from the event organizers with an estimated mass of 10,000 people.
