On The Fifth Day Of The Police Helicopter Search, The Joint SAR Team Brings All Equipment

JAKARTA - Entering the fifth day, the joint SAR operation is still searching for Polairud's NBO-105 P-1103 helicopter which lost contact in Manggar Waters, East Belitung Regency.

Until today, Thursday, December 1, the Joint SAR Team is still trying its best to find the victim AKP Arif Rahman Saleh (Pilot) by dividing the search area.

A total of 11 teams were deployed at sea level searches with 4 searches at F.2 deg40'9"S 108 deg'13'14"T, M. 2 deg28'19"S 108 deg39'14"T, S. 3 deg 2'17"S 108 deg54'33"T and T. 3 deg14'20"S 108 deg 27'48"T.

The ships used by KP-2002, KP-1203, Cahaya Pelangi, RIB 1009, Rubber boat Basarnas, Kal Manau, BC 9002, KRI Siwar, KRI Karotang 872, KRO Pulau Rangsang and KN Belut Laut.

While searching at sea level, the joint SAR conducted a search at 4 coordinates of 2 deg 50'18"S 108 deg19'19E, 2 deg48 09"S 108 deg 18'19 E 2 deg46'30"S 108 deg^22'20E and 2 deg48'39"S 108 deg23'22 E.

"The tools used by KM Quin, KRI SPICA and Rubber Boat," he said.

For air search, the search at the coordinates of F.2 deg40'9"S 108 deg13'14"T, M. 2 deg28'19"S 108 deg3'14"T, S. 3 deg 2'17"S 108 deg54'33"T and T. 3 deg14'20"S 108 deg 27'48"T. The main tools that standby are BO-105/P1113, AW189/P7002, BO-105/P1110 and CN-295.
