Sessions Of Hendra Kurniawan And Agus Nurpata, Members Of Propam To Forensic Labors Will Be Witnesses

JAKARTA - The follow-up trial for the alleged obstruction of justice with the defendants Hendra Kurniawan, Agus Nurpatra, and Irfan Widyanto was held today, Thursday, December 1.

The public prosecutor (JPU) plans to present six witnesses from the National Police's Professional and Security Division (Propam) to digital forensic experts in this trial.

"Yes, today's trial plan presents six witnesses," said the attorney for the defendants, Ragahdo Yosodiningrat when confirmed, Thursday, December 1.

The six witnesses included Novianto Rifai as Ferdy Sambo's former personal staff. Then, Radite Hernawa, Agus Saripul and M Rafli who are members of the Police Propam Division.

Meanwhile, the other two witnesses are digital forensic experts from the National Police. They are Hery Priyanto and Adi Setya.

"The prosecutor summoned the two Labfor experts," he said.

However, the six witnesses will only be heard for their testimonies for the defendants Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra.

Meanwhile, the defendant Irfan Widyanto will only hear the testimony of witness Radite Hernawa.

For information, Hendra Kurniawan, Agus Nurpatra, and Irfan Widyanto were charged with obstructing the investigation into the premeditated murder case of Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.

They were jointly charged with securing evidence in the form of CCTV from the security post of the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

Thus, they are suspected of violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
