Three motorcycle theft perpetrators with the initials Nov (32), RAH (28) and DS (27) were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police. The three were caught in action on Jalan Rawa Tengah RT 01/05, Galur Village, Johar Baru District, Wednesday, November 30.

Judging from the crime record, the perpetrator is a recidivist of a similar case.

"We managed to arrest three perpetrators of motorcycle theft in the Johar Baru area. The motorbike they stole has been sold by the perpetrators," said Johar Baru Police Chief AKP Rudi Wira when confirmed, Wednesday, November 30.

AKP Rudi Wira said the three perpetrators were residents of Johar Baru, Central Jakarta.

"The three of them are residents of Johar Baru. Of the three perpetrators, the suspect's initials Nov is a recidivist of the same case," he said.

AKP Rudi explained that the three perpetrators managed to steal a Honda Beat automatic motorbike with police number B 6566 PXP belonging to the victim named Fajar. The perpetrator was arrested after hunting by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police.

"The motorbike was in the yard. After reporting to us, the team was immediately dispatched to the location. The perpetrator's actions were also caught on CCTV," he said.

AKP Rudi said that his party is currently hunting down DD, a collector of stolen goods from the perpetrators. The motorbike was sold at a price of Rp. 1.2 million by the perpetrators.

"The reason they stole is to meet their daily needs. We have also tested their urine and the results are negative," he said.

In order to account for his actions, the three perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of five years in prison.
