After filling at the gas station, he said, then the fuel was dismantled or cast at the residence of suspect AW which was put in jerry cans to be resold at a higher price. "Officers followed the suspect's car and found the oil removed in jerry cans and then stored before being resold," he explained. Of the three suspects, the police secured evidence of a green Isuzu Panther car BG 1570 YB, a black Taft Hilline car number F 1299 E with a modified tank, two blue jerry cans containing 45 liters of diesel fuel. The suspect will be charged with Article 55 in conjunction with Article 53 Letter (c) of Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas which was amended in paragraph 5 of Article 40 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2022 concerning Job Creation with the threat of imprisonment for six years and a maximum fine of IDR 60 billion. "Currently, we have secured the three suspects and evidence for further legal processing," he said.
