JAKARTA - The joint Search and Rescue Team (SAR) evacuated the body of a father who was hugging one of his daughters. They were buried by landslides due to an earthquake in Cijedil Village, Cugenang District, West Java.

Two bodies were successfully evacuated at 10.15 WIB in RT3 RW1 Cijedil Village in the name of Endin (36) and a daughter on behalf of Anisa (5) at a depth of about 2 meters.

"Endin is Anisa's father. They are my neighbors who have been missing since the earthquake on November 21, 2022," said Adul's neighbor at the scene, Monday, November 28, as reported by Antara.

Endin's body was found hugging his daughter, Anisa, at a distance of about 10 meters from her collapsed house covered in a mound.

Officers took the victim's body to the Forensic and Medikolegal Installation of the Sayang Hospital to be identified by the Police DVI Team.
