Previously, the National Police's DVI Team identified the bodies of victims of the Cianjur earthquake, using fingerprints and teeth, but as the condition of the bodies was worsened on the seventh day after the earthquake, the method was used based on DNA. "We carry out an identification based on DNA and as soon as possible we will do it. DNA collection here compares the DNA of the bodies with the DNA of their siblings. That is the principle of taking them," said Dr. A Nyoman Eddy Purnama Wirawan, quoting Antara, Sunday, November 27. Nyoman Eddy said to this day, the Police DVI Team has received 160 body bags of earthquake victims in Cianjur Regency. "As for the DVI operation, the Police identified the dead victims, which we have now carried out. Today we received two body bags.
