JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Police (Polri) conducted trauma healing for dozens of children who were victims of the Cianjur earthquake in the evacuation tent in Pacet District, Cianjur Regency, West Java.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said trauma healing was given at several evacuation points, one of which was in refugee tents at the Binaraga Football Field, Panyaweuyan Village, RT02/01, Ciherang Village, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency. This refugee drink is the Command Post of the 4 Paspetor Korbrimob Police.

"This trauma healing activity was carried out in collaboration with the Psychology Bureau of the SSDM Polri, Korbrimob Polri, Psychology Section of the West Java Police HR Bureau, Bhabinkamtibmas Cianjur Police, and Unicef," said Dedi in a written statement received in Jakarta, Sunday, November 27.

The subject of the trauma healing target was given to 40 children and 33 mothers. It was seen that they laughed and smiled independently with trauma healing activities given by members of the National Police.

"Children and mothers look happy and this is to treat the trauma of the refugees after the earthquake," he said.
