Sah Tidore 2022 Becomes The World Investment Promotion To Tidore

JAKARTA - Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan said, Sah Tidore 2022 in North Maluku is the world's investment promotion to Tidore as well as international glue.

"This grand event is expected to support the promotion of regional economic potential and tourism potential, superior products to world investment in Tidore," said Zulkifli Hasan in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday, November 26.

Zulkifli as well as the Chief Executive of the 12th Sail Tidore Implementation Center in 2022 encourages the acceleration of economic development and promotes Tidore's potential to world investors and tourists.

The Minister of Trade (Mendag) said that the programs that have been carried out to support include infrastructure improvement, community empowerment in the tourism industry, counseling and assistance to small industries.

Then, exhibitions and product promotions, business forums, health services to the community as well as improvements to tree vegetation so that access and the environment can be better.

Various attractions, competitions and art performances are also held to raise local potential.

"With the various activities we have reported, Sail Tidore 2022 is one of the efforts to keep the economy in eastern Indonesia stable," he said as quoted by Antara.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan asked the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Ministry of Trade and local governments to continue to maximize Tidore's potential after the implementation of Oil Tidore 2022.

"A lot of treasure is hidden here, but we have to manage it wisely," said Luhut.

The implementation of Oil Tidore 2022 is the result of the cooperation of all stakeholders such as 32 ministries and institutions assisted by a number of SOEs, business actors and other stakeholders.

Mayor of Tidore Islands Ali Ibrahim conveyed the importance of Tidore as an international trade point like 500 years ago so there needs to be further efforts to continue developing Tidore after Sail Tidore 2022.

"Five hundred years ago, Tidore became an important point in international trade relations and played a role in the constellation geostrategy and global geopoliticals," he said.

The peak of the 2022 Sahil Tidore event this Saturday was opened by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan which was attended by 1,100 invitations.
