KRL Anjlok In Bandan Village This Afternoon, KCI Implements Route Engineering

Electric Rail Train (KRL) with the number KA 5144C fell at Kampung Bandan Station, North Jakarta, this afternoon. As a result, other train circuit travel routes experienced problems and had to be engineered.

"KA 514C which experienced a decline at Kampung Bandan Station at 13:47 WIB," said VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Anne Purba in her statement, Saturday, November 26.

Based on reports received, the KRL incident fell at 13:47 WIB. However, the cause was not explained.

So far, only no casualties have been conveyed in the incident. Then, the process of evacuating a series of trains is still being carried out.

"There were no casualties, and currently KAI Commuter together with the Operational Area 1 Jakarta Team are conducting an evacuation as well as checking infrastructure so that the return route can serve KRL," said Anne.

On the other hand, Anne said that with the incident and the evacuation process of the KRL series which is currently still ongoing, the engineering of the travel route had to be implemented.

The engineering route includes the Manggarai-Kampung Bandan-Jatinegara train journey only up to Angke Station.

Then, train trips from Jatinegara-Kampung Bandan-Manggarai also only reached Pasar Senen Station.

For the incident, Anne said KCI apologized for the incident.

"Once again we apologize for the incident and we urge you to continue to monitor the current conditions through KAI Commuter @commuterline's official social media," said Anne.
