Indonesian Students Reportedly On The List Ofhosts Of Ukraine, This Is A Response From The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Indonesian Embassy in Kyiv, is looking for news of Indonesian citizens (WNI) related to the Russian-Ukraine war.

The name Giorgio Ramadhan was widely discussed by Twitter, regarding the news that he was included in the list of the NGO Myrotvorets Center organization, as Ukraine's enemy.

On Twitter, he was mentioned as an Indonesian student who took part in the student exchange program to the Netherlands, but then chose to go to Lugansk.

In a post at the Lugansk Media Center, Giorgio Ramadan reportedly commented on the Russian citizenship fast path program for Lugansk and Donetsk residents, two regions that were later 'taken' by Russia from Ukraine through a referendum with Kherson and Zaporizhzhia in September.

Confirmed about this, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Indonesian Embassy Kyiv is currently looking into the news.

"The Indonesian Embassy is still looking for information in Kyiv the truth of this news. Hopefully it will only be a hoax," said Indonesian Foreign Ministry spokesman Teuku Faizasyah to VOI when confirmed, Saturday, November 26.

It is known that the number of Indonesian citizens in Ukraine was last reported last October as many as 34 people, including the staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Kyiv.

"There are a total of 34 Indonesian citizens in Ukraine, including the staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Kyiv," said Faizasyah.
