REJANG LEBONG - Social Service (Dinsos) Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, asked residents receiving social assistance in the area to report to the authorities that the distribution of aid was cut. "If someone cuts the social assistance, it should be immediately reported to the authorities. The distribution of social assistance must not be cut and the distribution is also supervised by the authorities," said Head of the Rejang Lebong Social Service Gusti Maria in Rejang Lebong, Antara, Friday, November 25. He explained that currently as many as 19,187 beneficiary families (KPM) in Rejang Lebong Regency are receiving the disbursement of social assistance in the form of BLT due to the increase in fuel, where they are also listed as recipients of BPNT Sembako social assistance and social assistance for the Family Hope Program (PKH). The distribution of social assistance, he said, has been carried out since November 22 through four post offices including the Curup Branch Post Office as many as 5,885 KPM, then the Sambirejo assistant branch post office in Selupu Rejang District as many as 3,430 KPM. Furthermore, at the Belitar sub-branch post office, Sindang Kelingi sub-district, there were 7,454 KPM, and the Karang Anyar Pal 8 sub-branch post office, Bermani Ulu sub-district was 2,418 KPM. According to him, the underprivileged residents who received this social assistance in addition to receiving BLT BBM payments for the last two months (November and December) amounting to IDR 300,000 or IDR 150,000 per month as well as BPNT Sembako and PKH social assistance payments for three months October-December payments. The social assistance received by each KPM reaches Rp900,000 consisting of BLT BBM social assistance of Rp300,000, then BPNT Sembako social assistance and Rp600,000 PKH. "It is hoped that the social assistance distributed by the central government can be used to meet the needs of life, which has recently begun to increase due to an increase in fuel prices," said Gusti Maria.
