JAKARTA - The Toyota Land Cruiser with police number B 1022 RFQ crashed into nine motorbikes in front of Ruko Green Lake, Sunter area, North Jakarta. The car, which was driven by the man with the initials SH, initially drove on a flat road, towards Jalan Danau Sunter from south to east. Then it was hit by a clumpy road contour and lost control. "From the results of witness testimony and our crime scene processing when we visited the crime scene, if we looked at the geometry and characteristics of the road, it was originally a flat road and then suddenly stepped up," said North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Head Kompol Edi Purwanto when contacted, Friday, November 25. Kompol Edi said that the sudden change in the characteristics of the road climbing made SH lose control at the wheel of his car. SH is suspected of driving the vehicle at high speed.

"So the vehicle at high speed, which was originally a flat road, suddenly got shocked so it couldn't control its vehicle," he said. He added that the accident was caused by the negligence of the Land Cruiser driver until he finally lost control and crashed into nine motorbikes at the location. "He was negligent at high speed which he was originally on a flat road and suddenly stepped on. He was not aware that the vehicle was finally mentally," he said. Furthermore, Kompol Edi said that his party did not carry out further legal proceedings against SH. The Land Cruiser driver had also been sent home after being questioned at the North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit. "The driver has been questioned because we did not carry out material losses," he said. Luckily, there were no casualties in this incident. However, the motorbikes that were hit suffered damage. "As a result of the accident, all the vehicles and shop houses were damaged," he said.
