Chinese Graves In Cipinang, East Jakarta Filled With Piles Of Waste

JAKARTA - The area where the South Cipinang Besar public cemetery (TPU) (CBS) or the Chinese cemetery, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta is filled with piles of garbage. The waste from the former household was dumped by residents around the TPU location.

Head of the Green Line and Cemetery of the East Jakarta City Parks and Forests Sub-dept. Atang Setiawan confirmed the amount of garbage in the CBS TPU area. It also mobilized about 20 joint personnel to clean up the garbage.

"We clean all the garbage in this TPU area, collaborate with the LH Sub-Department and the village. This land belongs to the private sector which is used as a CBS TPU. We only carry out supervision and maintenance of this TPU land," Atang told reporters, Thursday, November 24.

This garbage cleaning is carried out as a follow-up to public complaints that enter through the CRM application. His party collaborates with the village and the East Jakarta Environmental Sub-Department to clean up garbage scattered on privately owned land which is used as a CBS TPU or better known as the Kebon Nanas Chinesevoke.

According to Atang, the volume that was successfully transported reached one medium-sized truck. Garbage is thrown into the Bantar Gebang TPST.

So that residents do not litter in the CBS TPU area, his party cooperates with village elements and Satpol PP to carry out strict supervision. Because if not supervised, residents will litter at that location again.
