JAKARTA - The South Jakarta City Government has added a park for structuring and revitalizing the area in Kebayoran Lama District.

"We in six urban villages are currently structuring the Kebayoran Lama area," said Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Head Iwan Santoso, Thursday, November 24, quoted from Antara.

Iwan said that his party chose to increase the number of parks in the area to beautify the environment, reforestation, reduce air pollution, and interaction space between residents.

In addition to increasing the number of parks, his party also made arrangements starting from tidying the grass, repairing damaged roads, and providing seats.

A number of locations were carried out by the arrangement of the park, namely North Grogol, Simprug Golf, and Pondok Pinang.

In addition, the Cipulir area is held to arrange sidewalks to be used as parking spaces for the general public.

"In Iskandar Muda we are repairing the canal and adding murals, then on Jalan Baru we add a garden for reforestation," he said.

According to him, the arrangement of the area is part of the South Jakarta Mayor's program in improving government-owned facilities, suggestions and infrastructure in all urban villages.

The goal of revamping is so that all public facilities, facilities and infrastructure can be enjoyed by the public.

Iwan hopes, with the arrangement of this area, people can feel safe and comfortable with adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Previously, the South Jakarta City Government's Administrative Government repaired the collapsed canal with a depth of 60 centimeters or cm on Jalan Gedung Hijau Raya, Pondok Pinang Village, Kebayoran Lama District to repair facilities and anticipate flooding.

"The cause of the collapse of the canal was caused by two sides of the sheet sheet sheet pile which was built from collapsed rocks because the water was eroded during the rain," said Head of the Water Resources (SDA) Service Unit (Kasatpel) Kebayoran Lama District, Andriyansah in a written statement in Jakarta, Friday, November 18.
