Ahead Of The Arrival Of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin To Kaimana, Regency Government Holds Meetings

JAKARTA - The Kaimana Regency Government, West Papua, held a preparation meeting to welcome the working visit of Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin which is scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 1.

Kaimana Regent Freddy Thie in Kaimana, said during a two-day working visit to Kaimana, Vice President Ma'ruf is scheduled to inaugurate a foot court facility at Jokowi-Iriana Park in Kaimana City.

The Vice President's entourage is planned to arrive in Kaimana on November 30 after stopping at Ambon Maluku Province, Jayapura Papua, Merauke, South Papua and Timika, Central Papua.

"Mr. Vice President will first enjoy the dusk panorama in Kaimana City and carry out several internal agendas, pray at one of the mosques and stay at Kaimana," said Regent Freddy, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 23.

The next day, namely December 1, 2022, the Vice President is scheduled to receive the Governor of West Papua and the Regents and community leaders throughout the Bomberay area, inaugurate the food court, greet residents and continue their journey to Biak Papua Province, Makassar and return to Jakarta.

Welcoming the arrival of the number two RI person, the Kaimana Regency Government has formed a local committee involving all leaders of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) and local forkopimda officials chaired by the Regional Secretary of Kaimana Regency, Donald R. Wakum.

Regent Freddy asked all parties involved in the committee to provide full support for the success of the Vice President's working visit in Kaimana.

"This is our shared responsibility. We must be grateful that Kaimana Regency has been visited by Mr. President Jokowi (on October 27, 2019) and this time visited by the Vice President. This means that this is complete. The President has come and the Vice President has also come," said Freddy, who is familiarly called Kaibus every day.

In order to welcome the arrival of the Vice President in Kaimana, the local Regency Government appealed to Kaimana residents to maintain the cleanliness of the environment around Kaimana City. Moreover, the Kaimana Regency Government is targeting next year the area can win the Adipura Cup.

In this regard, the committee will carry out cleaning at several strategic points which are the main locations for the Vice President's working visit.
