The DKI Jakarta LH Service Has Succeeded In Identifying Tinja Trucks Disposal Of Waste Into The Cawang City Forest Water Line

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency has identified a truck that disposes of domestic waste carelessly in the Cawang City Forest waterway, East Jakarta. The courier truck was identified through a number plate recorded by an amateur video of the residents.

Public Relations of the DKI Jakarta Environment Agency (Dinas LH), Yogi Ikhwan, said that his party immediately took firm action because the perpetrator's actions had defamed the environment. The perpetrators have also deceived the public, the public has paid for the suction service but they are littering.

"We will check them, we will BAP and later we will give sanctions in accordance with the violation. If the business actor has repeatedly littered, we propose to revoke the permit," Yogi told reporters, Monday, November 21.

According to Yogi, trucks should drain waste into water treatment plants and domestic waste managed by PAL Jaya in the Duri Kosambi area, West Jakarta and Pulogebang, East Jakarta.

"We will make a letter of recommendation to PTSP to revoke PT's permit regarding the suction effort," he said.

According to Yogi's research, the disposal of garbage carelessly allegedly was because truck drivers did not want to pay retribution, so they were desperate to throw dirt into the waterways.

"We are still routinely monitoring. Some time ago we arrested him in Matraman and behind the East Jakarta Mayor's office. We also routinely take action against irresponsible private business actors," he said.

For his actions, the perpetrator was threatened by Pergub No. 8 of 2007 concerning public order.

Previously, this exhaust truck incident went viral on social media and was uploaded to the Instagram account @recordjakarta. In his video upload, it was stated that the action on Jalan Cawang UKI took place on Sunday, November 20, at around 07.45 WIB.

At that time, residents shouted and recorded via video. Instantly, the truck driver with police number B 9631 UFA fled the location.
