JAKARTA - The eradication of drugs in Boncos Village, Palmerah, West Jakarta, has begun to be hampered by the large number of access roads used by dealers and narcotics users to transact and escape. This was acknowledged by the Head of the Palmerah Police, AKP Dodi Abdul Rohim after carrying out raids.

According to AKP Dodi Abdul Rohim, the last raid that was carried out on Friday, November 18, his party experienced problems due to the large number of access routes in the Boncos Village area.

Although the police deployed a sniffer dog belonging to K9 Polda Metro Jaya when they raided Kampung Boncos, the police only secured 2 drug users.

The perpetrators managed to disperse and fled through the rat roads in the area. "We see here many rat roads," said Palmerah Police Chief, AKP Dodi Abdul Rohim when confirmed, Monday, November 21.

In addition to the number of rat roads, the police also experienced difficulties during the raid on Boncos Village due to the lack of numbers of members of the Palmerah Police. "We see the limitations of our members. We will maximize the number of members by coordinating with the police," he said.

The Tambora Police will close the rat road which is suspected to be an alternative route for users and dealers to enter and exit the village.

"Because so far we have used 3 entrances, while here there are more than 3 entrances, perhaps 11 routes. That is what we will maximize with the police," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Palmerah Police sent a sniffer dog belonging to K9 Polda Metro Jaya to raid Boncos Village, Palmerah, West Jakarta, Friday, November 18. From the raid, the police arrested two narcotics users.
