The First Day Of TMII Is Re-opened, Visitors Are Full Of Revitalization Results

JAKARTA - A number of visitors have started visiting Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta. The cultural tourism park was reopened to the public today, Sunday, November 20.

Andi, one of the visitors from Tangerang, said he was satisfied with the results of the revitalization of TMII which was getting better in terms of facilities.

"This is neat in accordance with our expectations that came all the way from Tangerang," Andi said at TMII Jakarta, Sunday, November 20.

However, Andi said there were still a number of shortcomings for the first day of the trial opening of TMII.

"The density at the entrance needs to be considered again because it is closer to entering from door one. I was also looking for parking for up to half an hour," said Andi.

Another TMII visitor, Agus, said the same thing regarding facilities for visitors that the manager needs to pay attention to.

He said that currently visitors can no longer carry motorized vehicles around TMII.

Visitors must first park their vehicles at the parking lot that has been provided and then go around using an electric bus that has been provided by the TMII manager.

"Earlier, many groups of people came around and had to wait for a mobile car. So, it had to be evaluated again so that people could go around," said Agus.

However, Agus said he was satisfied with the change in the face of TMII after the revitalization.

"I as a resident of Jakarta is very supportive and very good because this is one of the tourist attractions that displays the diversity of provinces," said Agus.

The manager of the TMII tourist attraction has also begun to open entry ticket sales for visitors online.

President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (PT TWC), Edy Setijono, said that ticket sales were for limited trials for public visitors on November 20, 2022.

"Since we opened at 08.00 WIB for only two hours, about 500 tickets have been sold," said Edy Setijono in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 16.

Edy added that during the limited trial period for the new face of TMII, operating hours will start at 08.00 WIB until 16.00 WIB.
