Gusbager-Wahfir Candidates Still Outstanding 42.3 Percent In The Keerom Pilkada

JAKARTA - The provisional vote acquisition for regent and deputy regent candidates for Keerom Regency, Papua Province, Piter Gusbager-Wafhir Kosasi until Sunday morning was still ahead with 42.3 percent in the 2020 simultaneous regional elections.

Based on the recapitulation of the data on the election page for the Keerom Regency Election Commission (KPU) on Sunday, it was reported that the candidate pair Muhammad Markum-Malensius Musui won 36.2 percent and candidate pair Yusuf Wally-Hadi Susilo won 21.4 percent.

The counting of votes entered at the KPU was 30 polling stations from 185 polling stations (16.22 percent) of the total TPS Pilkada in Keerom Regency 9 December 2020.

Of the 11 election committees for the Brau Dua District that reported the results of the provisional vote acquisition, namely West Arso District 70.97 percent with the number of candidate pairs M.Markum-M.Musui 2,180 votes, Gusbager-Wahfir 2,627 votes and candidate pair Yusuf Waly-Hadi Susilo 1,334 votes .

Meanwhile, the candidate pair Markum-Musui received 615 votes, the Piter Piter candidate pair Gusbager-Wahfir Kosasih 637 votes and the candidate candidate pair Yusuf Wally-Hadi Susilo with 320 votes.

The Piter Gusbager-Wahfir Kosasih candidate who was carried by the PDIP is currently still the Deputy Regent of Keerom Regency, while the candidate for Deputy Regent Wahfir Kosasih, the former Deputy Regent of Keerom for the 2005-2010 period was paired with the late elected Regent Celcius Watae.
