JAKARTA - The Dutch-flagged Sailing Vessel Dulce ship was reported to have lost contact in the waters of Seget, Sorong, West Papua.

The ship, which contains three crew members - one of which is a French resident - from Sorong to Australia, was reported to the Sorong Class A Search and Rescue Office having lost contact at a point of suspicion of 1.13' 15.03 "S-131 deg 5'.13" E

Head of the Class A Search and Rescue Office Sorong Amiruddin said after receiving the report, the Basarnas KN SAR Baladewa operation ship together with personnel were dispatched to conduct a search.

He said the Dutch-flagged Sailing Vessel Dulce ship with the captain named Anton departed from Sorong along with the Sea Monkey on Wednesday (16/11), at 10.00 WIT with Australia's final destination.

However, on his way to the waters of Seget, Sorong Regency, the Dutch-flagged Sailing Vessel Dulce ship lost contact, Saturday, November 19, quoted by Antara.

Then the ship's management reported to the Sorong Basarnas to help search for the whereabouts of the ship.
