The family of the ASN Semarang City Government who was killed, Iwan Budi Paulus, confirmed that President Joko Widodo had responded to the letter of request for justice for the incident. The attorney for the family of the late Iwan Budi, Yunantyo Adi, said that the letter sent had been responded by Deputy V of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP). "KSP has formed a team to investigate, collect data so that this problem can later be coordinated with the president," he said in Semarang, Antara, Tuesday, November 15. The family of the Semarang City Government ASN victim of murder, Iwan Budi Paulus, had previously sent a letter to President Joko Widodo. In the letter, the family asked Jokowi to pay special attention to criminal cases that have not been revealed in more than two months. According to him, the family has also coordinated with Pomdam IV/Diponegoro in investigating this case. In addition, he continued, communication also continues to be established with the Semarang Polrestabes. He hopes that the case of Iwan Budi's death whose body was found on fire in the Marina Semarang area about three months ago can be revealed soon. Previously, a body was found on fire along with a motorcycle in the Marina Beach area, Semarang City, Central Java, on September 8, 2022. Together with the body and motorbike, which is an official vehicle belonging to Iwan Budi, a identity sign was found, as well as a cell phone that allegedly belonged to Iwan Budi Paulus. Iwan Budi was reported missing a day before being examined as a witness at the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Police regarding allegations of asset certification corruption. In investigating this case, Military Police Kodam IV/Diponegoro has also examined two TNI personnel suspected of being related to the murder incident. However, Pomdam Diponegoro does not yet have sufficient preliminary evidence of the involvement of the two TNI personnel in the alleged murder case of the Semarang City Government ASN, Iwan Budi Paulus, whose body was found on fire in the Marina Semarang area.
