Although the victim and the two perpetrators have reconciled, the Tambora Police will conduct a case of abuse by two PT KAI security guards against AZ (21), a young man with down syndrome, a son of the head of a boarding school in the Tambora area.

"The title of the case is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, tomorrow," said Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Monday, November 14.

The case was held in order to determine the legal process against the two suspects.

"Based on Perpol Number 08 of 2021 concerning Handling Restorative Justice Crimes, investigators are required to carry out case titles first to stop the investigation process through a restorative justice mechanism," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the case of the victim's abuse with the initials AZ (21) was a young man with the need who was abused by two PT KAI security guards which ended in peace. The victim's family and the suspect have mediated and agreed to make peace on Monday, November 14.

The two suspects with the initials DI (25) and SB (20) were presented in front of representatives of the victim's family. Meanwhile, the victim was only represented by his brother.

"The peace statement between the two parties has been received by the Tambora Police. This mediation was witnessed by community leaders in RW 10, Jembatan Besi Village, Tambora District," said Tambora Police Chief, Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Monday, November 14.

Kompol Putra explained that the mediation process was not carried out at the Tambora Police.

"We from the Tambora Police only provide space and opportunity for the suspect and the victim to resolve it amicably," he said.
