JAKARTA - The case of abuse by two PT KAI security guards against AZ (21), a teenager with special needs in West Jakarta, ended peacefully. Kompol Putra explained that the mediation process was not carried out at the Tambora Police.

"We from the Tambora Police only provide space and opportunity for the suspect and the victim to resolve it amicably," he said.

Even though they have been mediated, currently the two suspects with the initials DI (25) and SB (20) are still being held at the Tambora Police Station.

"Because we just received the peace letter signed by the parties and witnesses of the RT RW, Monday, November 14, afternoon," he said.

Previously, it was reported that two security guards with the initials DI (25) and SB (20) were suspects in the case of mistreatment of the child of the leader of the Assalafiyah Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) in Tambora District.

The victim with the initials AZ (21) suffered several injuries as a result of being mistreated by the two perpetrators. The incident occurred when the victim was burning garbage on the edge of the railroad tracks near Duri Station, Tambora on Friday morning, November 4. The actions of the victims were known by the two perpetrators.

The two perpetrators then arrested AZ and handcuffed the victim's hand which was linked to the chair by the two perpetrators. The victim also received punches using a water hose and samurai sarong to the back, arms and right thigh.

Arriving at the house, the victim told the incident that happened to her parents who were the leaders of the Indatafiyah Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), KH Dedi Syahroni in the Tambora District area. Not accepting that their child was abused, parents reported it to the Tambora Police Headquarters.

Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama explained, after receiving a report on the incident, he immediately moved quickly to arrest the two perpetrators.

"We have secured the perpetrator along with evidence, namely a water hose measuring 90 cm, a black samurai sarong, a barber, and iron handcuffs," said Kompol Putra when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, November 9.
