Ahead Of The G20 Summit, The Ministry Of Transportation Welcomes The Battery-Based Electric Vehicle Exhibition

The Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia cooperates with the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs to officially open the 2022 Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle Exhibition (PKBLBB). This exhibition is a form of commitment and support from the government of the Republic of Indonesia in the success of the implementation of the G20 Summit, and introduces the world a synergy collaboration in supporting the creativity of society and industry. Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki said the G20 Presidency is a momentum for Cooperatives and SMEs to adapt to strategic issues raised, such as sustainable efforts in the midst of a pandemic, digital transformation, and business models that adopt a production transition in an environmentally friendly and sustainable direction with the use of renewable energy. Teten continued, KemenkopUKM also formed Future SMEs which was divided into 5 categories, namely Future Mobility, Future Craft, Future Fashion, Future Food, and Future Wellness. "We call Future SMEs because we have to make evolution to our MSMEs. The experience we can get in this activity is electric vehicles, to support the global transition to renewable energy, as well as promote and socialize sustainable future programs," said Teten in an official statement, Saturday 12 November. Teten hopes that through the Future SME Village Local Wisdom For Global Sustainability activity, it is hoped that it can be a driving catalyst for the sustainability of Indonesia's MSME growth and an increase in investment in domestic MSMEs, considering that currently 80 percent of global investors are from the G20 countries.
