MAJALENGKA - Satreskrim Polres Majalengka, Polda West Java arrested three robbers who had detained their victims and were threatened with murder. "We arrested the three suspects, not long after they took action," said Majalengka Police Chief AKBP Edwin Affandi in Majalengka, Antara, Friday, November 11. According to him, the actions of the three suspected robbers, each with the initials RS (19), YD (28), and TT, were carried out on November 7, 2022, at around 20.30 WIB at the victim's house. The three robbers are former victims of victims who work as moneylenders, the three of them carried out their actions because they were hurt and held grudges. In the course of action, said Edwin, the three suspects detained the victim by tying his hands, feet, and threatening to be killed while fighting and screaming. "The victim is threatened with using a sharp weapon to be killed, then the cash and property belonging to the victim were immediately taken away," he said again. Edwin added that of the three suspects, his party confiscated a number of evidences, including two sharp weapons, savings books, vehicle documents, and others. As a result of the actions of the three robbers, said Edwin, Article 365 paragraph (1), paragraph (2) 1, 2 and 3 of the Criminal Code carries a maximum imprisonment of seven years. "We arrested the three robbers less than 2x24 hours after the robbery incident that happened to the victim," said Edwin. The three suspects have now been detained at the Majalengka Police Headquarters for further questioning.
