BOGOR - The Bogor City Government, West Java, has started distributing social assistance (bansos) for fuel oil (BBM) IDR 600 thousand for three months in the form of a special voucher for the Cimanggu refueling station (SPBU) for 2,341 online motorcycle taxi drivers and city public transportation (angkot). The distribution of fuel social assistance was marked by the provision of vouchers worth IDR 25 thousand to Ojekdara representatives (online) and IDR 50 thousand to angkot drivers symbolically by Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto at Baranangsiang Terminal. "This fuel subsidy assistance amounting to Rp1.4 billion is allocated to 1,000 online drivers and 1,341 angkot drivers in the form of vouchers in stages until December," Bima said as quoted by Antara, Friday, November 11. Furthermore, Bima said, the Transportation Service distributed complete eight vouchers for online motorcycle taxis and four vouchers for angkot drivers for one month worth IDR 200 thousand per month. Head of the Transportation Service Eko Prabowo added that the distribution of fuel social assistance in the form of vouchers will be carried out using summons to drivers to collect their vouchers at the Transportation Service building on Jalan Raya Tajur. The results of the cooperation between the Department of Transportation and Pertamina vouchers given to drivers can be valid for up to one year. Those who get vouchers can choose their own time to withdraw it at any time to the Cimanggu gas station. This week the drivers will get a voucher worth IDR 200 thousand for October and next week they will get IDR 200 thousand for November, so this month it will be given for subsidies two months at a time. Eko explained that to avoid long queues for voucher collection and queues for voucher disbursement at Cimanggu gas stations, summons will be carried out in stages until December.
