JAKARTA - Jasa Raharja as one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) continues to be committed to supporting the government in realizing national development. One form of contribution made by Jasa Raharja is to provide the best service to all Indonesian people.

President Director of Jasa Raharja, Rivan A. Purwantono, said Jasa Raharja as a part of the Ministry of SOEs ecosystem, seeks to take part in Indonesia's development, either directly through involvement in national strategic projects, or indirectly through contributions to state revenues such as dividends and taxes. "In 2021 Jasa Raharja has provided dividends to the state in the amount of more than Rp. 1.2 trillion," he said.

Jasa Raharja, continued Rivan, is not only concerned in carrying out its main task of providing basic protection for people who are victims of traffic accidents. Jasa Raharja as a BUMN must also be a tool for the government to distribute national development. Thus, there will be an acceleration of improving people's welfare," he said as a written statement received by VOI Thursday, November 10.

One form of other contribution is through the Corporate Social Responsibility (TJSL) program which is focused on the education, MSME, and environmental sectors.

This year, said Rivan, Jasa Raharja has realized the TJSL program budget of Rp. 12.7 billion. The funds are channeled into a number of activities, including training and strengthening UMK, training and empowering friends with disabilities, training and empowering heirs of traffic accidents, driving safety support programs, tree planting and preserving nature, and empowering fishermen.

"Of course, we align Jasa Raharja's TJSL program with what is the focus of the Ministry of SOEs so that equitable distribution of community welfare can be realized quickly," said Rivan.

Through these various contributions, Rivan hopes that Jasa Raharja as one of the nation's development agents, the benefits can be felt, both by the state, government, and all Indonesian people. We continue to strive to be able to make the best contribution to the country and people of Indonesia," said Rivan.
