TANGERANG A motorcyclist in Karang Tengah, Tangerang became a victim of confiscation by an unknown group of people. The perpetrator launched his action by claiming to be a member of the police.

The victim with the initials M recounted that the incident he experienced occurred on Tuesday afternoon, November 8. The incident began when he and his friend passed in front of the Al-Mukarom Mosque, Karang Mulya.

Suddenly he was visited by a group of four unknown people and immediately grabbed his motorbike.

"My direction home was sued by four people riding two motorbikes. The perpetrator admitted to being a police officer," said M when confirmed, Thursday, November 10.

The victim said the perpetrators scared the victim who was not wearing a helmet and mask while driving.

After that, the perpetrators took over the victim's motorbike and pretended to take the victim to the police station. However, while on the way the victim was taken down by the perpetrator in the Duanda Asri Housing area.

"They immediately stepped on the gas and took the victim's motorbike away," he said.

Contacted separately, the Head of the Ciledug Police, Kompol Noor Meghantara, said that his party would follow up on allegations of confiscation claiming to be a police officer.
