East Flores Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPDB) reported that landslides occurred in Gelong Village, Adonara Island, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). As a result, two houses were badly damaged.
"The disaster in Gelong Village, Adonara Island, occurred when the area was raining heavily on Tuesday (November)," said East Flores Regency BPBD Chief Executive Eduardo J Fernandez when confirmed, quoted from Antara, Wednesday 9 November.

Eduardo said BPBD and the East Flores Regency Government would go to the field to monitor the affected residents. According to him, relevant stakeholders will coordinate in stages with sub-districts and villages for handling efforts.
"Tomorrow (Thursday 10 November) we will go to the field to identify the impact of the disaster and distribute aid to victims," he said.
