The Last Victim Of Landslides In Agam West Sumatra Was Finally Found By The SAR Team

Four residents buried by landslides in Muaro Talang, Jorong Koto Gadang, North Nagari Salareh Aia, Palembayan District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province, have all been found. SAR officers today found the body of Dodi Saputra (28), the last victim of the disaster. "We immediately took the victim's body to the Permata Mulia Clinic in Padang Sawah, Nagari Tigo Nagari, Pasaman Regency," said Head of the Agam District Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Bambang Warsito in Lubukbasung, Antara, Wednesday, November 9. Efforts to search for victims were carried out by a joint team that included BPBD personnel, Resort Police, Military District Command, Indonesian Red Cross, sub-district government, and residents with heavy equipment support. On Tuesday afternoon, heavy rains caused landslides in Muaro Tatang and caused four residents and one truck to be buried by landslides. Officers found three people buried by the landslide on Tuesday. Two of the three victims who were found dead, one other person survived. The victims who died were Agung (25) and Isuf (40), both residents of West Pasaman. "The victim's body has been taken to the funeral home in Tampuruang, Nagari Kinali, West Pasaman Regency," said Bambang. One survivor, Fauzan (22), was referred to the West Yarsi Pasaman Hospital after undergoing treatment at the Permata Mulia Clinic in Padang Sawah, Tigo Nagari, Pasaman Regency. Thus, the four people buried by landslides in Muaro Tatang all died. Bambang reminded residents to be more careful when carrying out mining activities to avoid accidents.
