Jokowi Singgung For The 2024 Presidential Election, Jatah Prabowo, PDIP Value For The Creation Of A Conducive Atmosphere

The PDI-P (PDIP) considers President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) statement that the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) is the share of Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto, not as support. He is considered only to want to create a conducive atmosphere.

PDIP DPP chairman Ahmad Basarah said Jokowi always wanted to create a comfortable atmosphere. So, the 2024 presidential election can run with joy.

"Pak Jokowi always says politics with joy and makes people around him happy and whoever is a presidential candidate who will run in the upcoming 2024 presidential election contestation," Basarah said in a written statement, Wednesday, November 9.

Basarah said PDIP was not worried about the statement. Jokowi is considered to often convey similar things to various political parties, including PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

In fact, Jokowi conveyed more praise for PDIP. So, the party bearing the bull symbol is not worried.

"Both those who are praised in open forums and closed forums and I think Pak Jokowi praised the PDI-P more on several occasions," he said.

As previously reported, President Jokowi mentioned the issue of the 2024 presidential election when he was present at the 8th Anniversary of the Perindro Party in Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Monday, November 7. At that time, former Governor of DKI Jakarta Prabowo who is the Minister of Defense will become President.

"It looks like after this Pak Prabowo's quota," said Jokowi, which was greeted by applause from the participants.

Hearing President Jokowi's words, Prabowo, who was present at the event, stood up and saluted the president.

After the event, Jokowi said that the statement may be interpreted as a form of support. He left the assumption to the public.

"Yes, it means a signal, yes, it's okay. But I said it's okay," he said at the time.
