JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is auctioning land confiscated from former South Lampung Regent Zainudin Hasan. The auction of assets belonging to the younger brother of the General Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan was carried out based on the decision of the Supreme Court. The asset was not charged with a title (SHM) and can be offered at a limit price of Rp5,254,919,000 and a security deposit of Rp1.5 billion. This auction will be held on Thursday, November 24. For information, Zainudin was found guilty of bribery in the project fee at the Public Works and Public Housing Office of South Lampung Regency. He was also proven to have committed a crime of money laundering (TPPU). As a result of his actions, Zulhas' brother was sentenced to 12 years in prison by the Supreme Court. The sentence was given after he filed an appeal against the decision of the Tanjungkarang Class IA District Court, Lampung. In addition, Zainudin was also required to pay a replacement fee of Rp66,772,092,145, a subsidiary of 2 years in prison and a fine of Rp500 million, subsidiary of 6 months in prison.
