Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Depok Metro Police, AKBP Yogen Heroes Baruno revealed the motive for the beating by MS against his wife on Jalan Cilobak Raya Pangkalan Jati, Cinere, Depok City, November 7. Yogen said that the domestic violence (KDRT) was motivated by debt problems.

When the incident happened, the perpetrator MS planned to meet with the victim to discuss the debt problem. However, after being picked up at the victim's boarding house, MS intended to invite him to eat first, but the victim refused until the perpetrator felt annoyed and slammed his motorbike.

"The perpetrator then slammed his motorbike on the road, lowering the victim and her child because they were still emotional, the perpetrator then beat the victim three times towards the victim's face," he said.

The police, who received the information, immediately arrested the perpetrator in the Cinere area, Sunday, November 6. And now the perpetrator is at the Depok Metro Police undergoing examination.

Regarding the victim, he immediately did a post-mortem. The result was that the lips were torn by 10 centimeters. Meanwhile, the victim's child was given psychological assistance, in order to relieve trauma.
