Call More "Hantu Democracy" Disrupts The Coalition, Democrats Continue To Meeting Barisan With NasDem And PKS

Spokesperson for the Democratic Party, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, revealed that currently more and more parties are trying to disrupt the process of forming the Change Coalition with the NasDem Party and PKS.

This was revealed by Herzaky in the midst of the news that PKS was being approached by PKB and Gerindra to join their coalition. Now, Democrats and PKS are also offering each vice presidential candidate who will accompany Anies Baswedan.

"The more you come here, the more democratic ghosts appear. Trying to disrupt the coalition process. In various ways, trying to divide it," Herzaky told reporters, Sunday, November 6.

Herzaky admitted that political dynamics must always be there towards the election process and the formation of a coalition for the nomination of presidential and vice-presidential candidates. This condition, claimed by Herzaky, actually makes Democrats, NasDem, and PKS more solid and close ranks.

"I'm even more convinced that we are on the right path. Reaching the top of the mountain is a steep journey and climbing. Full of struggle. Nothing is smooth like a toll road," said Herzaky.

Furthermore, Herzaky said the process of forming their coalition had reached 90 percent. He claims that more and more understanding has been achieved from discussions on the preparation of the coalition and the winning of the 2024 election.

According to him, it is not necessary to rush the announcement of the coalition of parties to avoid the mistakes taken.

"It's like wanting to get married, you have to adjust a lot of things, balance the frequency, especially now that four parties are starting to get involved, of course it takes time. So that the alloy is more suitable, not even often misinterpreted in the future, because there is lack of communication before the coalition," he explained.

Democrats-PKS-NasDem are known to be looking for an internal vice presidential candidate to accompany Anies. So far there are two names that have emerged as Anies candidates. Democrats nominated General Chair Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). Meanwhile, PKS proposed the Deputy Chairman of the Syuro Council, Ahmad Heryawan or Aher.

PKS, who pushed Aher, then brought the champion together with Anies at the PKS headquarters in Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Sunday, October 30. In the togetherness of the two, Aher and Anies both claimed to have had chemistry since they both became leaders of local government.

The meeting between Aher and Anies was held shortly after the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono alias AHY, visited and met Anies on Tuesday, October 25.
